The Business Development Associate will engage targeted industry sectors with the goal of making introductions and building awareness and interest in our offerings in accordance with set goals. This will be accomplished by a number of means both inside and outside of our Rancho Cordova offices, including telephone introductions, canvassing, affiliation with business associations, attending relevant functions, expos and conferences in the general region and occasionally in the San Francisco Bay Area. The Associate will work directly with key executive staff to strategize and implement the outreach program and will report on outcomes and progress. The Associate will not be required to quote pricing, write proposals, quote timelines or close sales.


A qualified candidate should be able to talk technology with anyone, be passionate about what they are delivering and instill the same interest in their clients. We are looking for a confident, capable self-motivated individual who can generate true interest in the services and solutions we provide.

This is a full-time position, and additionally some evenings and weekends as well as some travel may be required. The Business Development Associate will possess the following qualities, skills and abilities:

  • AA or BA or equivalent in relevant area of study (MIS, information technology, business, or marketing)
  • GPA of 3.x or better.
  • Technology enthusiast.
  • Solid communication skills are required.
  • Outgoing and extroverted, people-oriented.
  • Organized, motivated and goal-oriented.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Previous experience working in a similar or related capacity is a plus, but is not required.
  • Candidate must agree to a standard background check during the interview phase.

We will provide education and training related to our business model and product offerings, and other educational resources that can enhance the Associate’s effectiveness will be explored.


As part of our team, you’ll receive a compensation package of a salary plus benefits and a tiered bonus structure based on periodic performance, sales generated and compensation reviews. Additionally, the Business Development Associate will have a working budget for business travel and related expenses.
